Marco Barozzi

Architect

Born in Milan in 1972, I studied architecture at the FAUP (Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto) and the School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan, where I graduated in 2000.

During my years of training at FAUP, I had the opportunity to interact with masters such as Fernando Távora and Álvaro Siza and study their work directly.

My Portuguese experience, characterized by attention to place and memory, dialogue with context, attention to materials and details, and rigor in the execution of the work, has defined and continues to define my approach to architecture and architectural design.

In 2015, I founded MBA Studio in Mendrisio, in Italian-speaking Switzerland, and since 2020, I have also worked in Shanghai.

I believe that in architecture, every choice must arise from a reason, and every space must express the essence of the reason that generated it.

我于1972年出生于米兰，曾在波尔图大学建筑学院（FAUP）和米兰理工大学建筑学院学习建筑，并于2000年毕业。
